About the Product
What is the Leaft Blade?
Leaft Blade is a chilled, frozen protein gel powered by Rubisco protein — nature’s most abundant and complete protein. Each pouch is made from the goodness of 50,000 alfalfa leaves and delivers 17g of highly digestible protein, plus micronutrients like iron, calcium, vitamin A, K1, and B12.
How is Leaft Blade different from whey or plant protein powders?
Unlike powders, Leaft Blade digests up to 6x faster than whey, has a complete amino acid profile (all 9 EAAs), and is easy on the stomach. It’s also allergen-free, vegan-friendly, and sustainably produced.
What does it taste like?
We call it “greens gone wild” — earthy, refreshing, and clean. The flavor says ‘good for you’… because that’s exactly how we designed it.

Athletes, weekend warriors, and anyone who wants a convenient, high-performance protein for before, during, or after workouts.
Is it vegan / allergen-free?
Yes. Leaft Blade is vegan, lactose-free, soy-free, and gluten-free.
Storage & Usage
Do I keep it in the freezer or fridge?
Blades are shipped frozen. For the best experience, keep them in the freezer at home and grab one before training. If you’re heading out, you can store them in the fridge for up to 7 days or toss one in your bag for a few hours before use.
Do I need to thaw before eating?
No — Blades are designed to be eaten chilled or frozen-slushy style. Just tear, squeeze, and enjoy.
When should I take it?
Anytime around training:
- Before for fuel
- During for sustained energy
- After for faster recovery
How many can I have per day?
Most people use 1–2 Blades around workouts, but you can enjoy more depending on your protein needs.

Where can I buy Leaft Blade?
Directly from our website at leaftblade.com and select gyms, events, and retailers.
How is it shipped?
In the US, we ship with dry ice and insulated packaging to keep Blades frozen. Orders usually arrive in 1–3 business days.
In NZ, we ship with ice packs and insulated packaging. Orders usually arrive in 1 business day.
Do I need to be home to receive my order?
Not necessarily — our packaging is designed to stay cold for several hours after delivery. We recommend moving Blades to the freezer as soon as possible.
Where do you ship?
In the US, we are currently only shipping in California, but don't worry, there are plans to expand very soon.
In NZ, we can ship NZ-wide, but not rural delivery.
I don’t see prices in my country’s currency — what do I do?
No worries! Just check the top right corner of our website and make sure the correct country (NZ or USA) is selected. Once you switch, all prices will display in your local currency.
Can I subscribe and save?
Yes. Choose a subscription plan to get Blades delivered every other week. (Plus you can enjoy a discount!)
What if my order arrives melted or damaged?
We’ve got you covered. Contact us within 24 hours of delivery with a photo, and we’ll replace or refund your order.
Subscriptions
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Log in to your account at leaftblade.com to adjust, pause, or cancel anytime.
What if I have a subscription and I can’t log in to my account?
No stress — it happens! First, try resetting your password using the “Forgot Password” link on the login page. If that doesn’t work, email us at hello@leaftfoods.com and our team will get you sorted. You’ll still receive your subscription deliveries even if you can’t log in, so you won’t miss a Blade.
Can I skip a delivery if I don’t need Blades that week?
Absolutely. Just log into your account and choose “Skip Delivery” for any upcoming order. You’ll only be charged for the shipments you receive.
What if I’m going on vacation or need to pause my subscription?
You’re in control. You can pause your subscription anytime through your account dashboard. When you’re ready, just log back in and restart with one click.
